Easter

Our Easter weekend started Friday in Fayette Springs. It is tradition to play in the sand the Saturday before Easter, but since it was going to rain Saturday we changed it to Friday. Billie's dad (the only man there) dug the trail for the kids to rolls eggs down. Billie's dad also pulled them behind his four wheeler on a belt. The kids had so much fun. It's not everyday you get to go sand boarding.

Then on Saturday we went to the city park for an egg hunt.

After the hunt we played games in the gym at the middle school since the weather was bad. Then we went to grandma Sandra's house to eat. She made a treasure hunt for the kids that led them all through her house.

Easter morning came early with the kids waking us up before 8. (That is early for us on Sunday)

Another tradition is going to the plum patch at the Eliason Farm with Robyn's family. We got there late because we came after church. The kids still got to play baseball, ride four wheelers, roll eggs down the hill, and watch the men shoot trap.

The Easter bunny brought summer outfits, but I still had to take a picture of Jaydee in her Easter dress.

I spent most of the time by the warm fire.
It was so nice to spend the weekend with family. I couldn't imagine having to spend my time without Karl and my kids. They are the most important things in my life.
