A Day At The Lake!!

We took a trip to the lake last weekend with some friends to go boating. The kids and adults had a blast on the hot dog that Sandra bought the Dad's for Fathers Day. Thanks Lisa & Tyler for coming with us!!!

T-ball

Karl coached both of our boys in t-ball this year. This was Kevin's fourth year of t-ball, so he was a little bored and I am so ready to watch something a little more exciting. Kort finally got to play on the same team with his brother, which made him so happy. We can't wait for next year.

Fish'n & wheel'n

We took another trip to the cabin with Jerilyn and Nate. It rained a lot of the day on Saturday, but we found the perfect time to take a 3 1/2 hour four wheeler ride. It was so pretty!

Karl and I have never enjoyed fishing, but somehow we have three fishing poles. (Which makes the kids think that we need to go fishing.) For some reason they think that it is fun to catch fish and through them back. (We don't eat fish) They completely enjoy it, so we have started taking them fishing.

A couple weekends ago we had the chance to walk through the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. The kids have always been curious to see what goes on in the temple. It was such a neat experience to be able to walk through it with them and explain what happens. Kevin's favorite part was the big chandeliers. Kort's favorite was the baptismal font. About a month before, Karl and I had a chance to clean the Manti Temple. We were able to see how much work goes into keeping the temple clean and saw it in a completely different way. So when we walked through the Oquirrh Mountain we noticed little things that we probably wouldn't have noticed before.
