We love the County Fair

We have had so much fun at the Sanpete County Fair.  We participated in every event that we could.  We started with calf riding.

Kort took second in the barrel race.

                                             Then there was the wild milking cow contest.

Karl, Andy, and Zane had to catch a cow and milk it.  They took second and qualified for the finals.

They had it won...........until Karl realized he dropped the bottle.  This was so fun to watch.  Zane is a real cowboy and knows what he is doing.  Without him I am sure Karl and Andy wouldn't have even touched a cow.  They are looking forward to redeeming themselves next year.

I always enjoy having the kids home for the summer, but also enjoy sending them back.  We are so excited for their teachers this year.  We have been impressed by them so far.

Happy Birthday KORT

This was by far the easiest birthday party.  Kort decided to have it at Airbourne Gymnastics. 

 Karl and his brothers had to see who could climb to the top of the rope........they all made it.  Kevin even got in on the fun.


After the gym we came back to our house for presents and cake and ice cream.

Kort is such a good kid.  He helps out whenever he is needed.  He is always happy and excited for anything.  He loves sports and learning new things at school.  We love him so much.

This was Kort's first year of coach pitch.  His team took 3rd in the lions tournament.  He was the youngest on his team, but could hit farther then anyone.  He did awesome!              

Kevin started kid pitch this year.  Karl has been working on pitching with Kevin and he was usually the starting pitcher.  These pictures were taken at State.  One of Ephraim's team went and picked up Kevin.  It was a really good experience for him.  Karl was able to coach their last game.  He had Kevin pitch.  The final score was 19-0.  He did so good. 

This was his first time pitching from a mound.

           We blessed Krew July 1st.  It turned out to be a great day!

Bear Lake

The Pickett family reunion was at Bear Lake this year.  My parents rented a house for all of us to stay in.

                                               The kids loves playing in the warm sand.

 This poor little girl got sick the second night we were there and didn't get better till we got home. 

The water was sooooo COLD, but we toughed it out.  June is not the best time to go to Bear Lake, but the kids had so much fun spending almost a whole week with their cousins.
