We let him choose where he wanted to eat for dinner. He chose Chilli's, but the wait was too long. So we went to Sizzler. He was glad we went there instead. This is the HUGE root beer float they gave him. He felt special.
He got to have another celebration at Grandma Sandra's house the next day. We also watched the Superbowl. This was us crowded in the theatre room for the opening of the presents.

We gave him a basketball hoop to put in the driveway.

He was so excited.

Kevin is growing up so fast. He loves all sports and loves watching them any chance he gets. He also loves school. He has a fantastic teacher this year who is BIG into homework. He loves learning. He amazes us. He is always teaching Karl and I new things. He is still playing the piano and practising a beautiful song for the festival coming up in March. Between homework, reading, piano, and basketball, he doesn't have much time to play. He heard there's not a lot of homework in 4th grade, which he is excited for. I can see his testimony growing. He makes family home evening worth having and is so excited to have it. We love our Kevin and are so thankful he is part of our family.
